Musicians from Contemporaneous will descend on MoMA to perform two long-form new works by composer Sarah Davachi on September 14th and September 15th, 2023. Continuing a lineage of minimalist composers such as Éliane Radigue, Tony Conrad, and La Monte Young, Sarah Davachi's works expand the human perception of sound through subtle variations of considered harmonic structures, exploring overtone complexity, intonation, and natural resonance.
