In this portrait concert of close Contemporaneous collaborator Shawn Jaeger, catch a rare in-progress performance of his work Wilderness of Woe. Commissioned for our 2016-2017 season, we will be performing an excerpt from the piece in the culmination of Shawn’s residency at Roulette in downtown Brooklyn. We will also feature Lucy Dhegrae, our core vocalist, on this program in The Cold Pane, one of our favorite works of Shawn’s. Also performing on the program are Ryan Muncy, Pala García, and Vicky Chow.
