Bard College | Blum Hall, Edith C. Blum Institute at the Milton and Sally Avery Arts Center

Free and open to the public

Join us for an exciting, behind-the-scenes look at the process of mounting a new work for the stage. This hour-long presentation and open rehearsal features works by Vicente Alexim (b. 1987) and Andrés Martínez de Velasco (b. 1991), both of which were commissioned by Contemporaneous. This will be an opportunity not only to hear from the composers about their music, but also to see Contemporaneous at work in rehearsal on these new works.
