In a performance at the stunning Gould Memorial Library, Contemporaneous brings to life works written specifically for the ensemble by two of its members in an hour-long program at Bronx Community College. The program features Contemporaneous clarinetist and composer Vicente Alexim's intricate and energetic work Impulses and world premiere concert version of music from the second act of founding co-artistic director Dylan Mattingly's upcoming opera, entitled Visions of Johanna.
